When I first heard the track 86 from Fred Yaddaden I honestly thought it was a track from the 70’s. I was shocked to find that the it and the rest of the content on the album was created between 2003 & 2005 but took almost 4 years to drop. I’m just glad that it saw the light of day. This album is getting major love in the form of spins on the ol’ iPod and had I known about this album before now it would have earned a spot on my Top Ten of 09 list…but to quote Ness “WTF is a Top Ten?”

What would say a rose if it could talk? It would talk about water, looks and words. It would talk about lights going out and days starting and restarting again. It would talk about scissors, cuddles, about discussions between human beings and flowers. It would talk for hours… About those same hours and about the silence that follows. It would talk about cycles and life. It would talk about forgetting. It would talk about thirst, about the end, folded in a bin, an eye into the ephemeral, memory of an intention… Indeed, what would say a rose if it could talk?
