My latest album, Frozen in Motion emerged from fragments of recordings made from snippets of life in New York City - conversations at a cafe, commuters swiping their subway passes, a marimba player on the street - the idea was to scour the recordings and seek out rhythms, melodies and textures embedded in the sound, using them as building blocks for songs.
My music has been described as “impressionist electro” and has been compared to Boards Of Canada, Plaid, Royksopp, Orbital, and Tycho.
