Los Angeles producers Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus and Mainframe recently worked with Gonjasufi (via Nevada desert) to produce his latest album A Sufi and a Killer. The album has already garnered great reviews and deservingly so. Sufi’s haunting vocals surface through brilliant beat making with layers upon layers of interesting sound. The album transcends collaborative effort and prevails as a triumph. I can say, I truly appreciate these sort of efforts. These cats are at the top of their hustle, and they do it well.
