First Michael McDonald made a surprise appearance covering Grizzly Bear’s “While You Wait For The Others” and I thought, “ok, that was interesting.” This year he collaborated with NYC’s Holy Ghost! on “Some Children.” The track would have been way less amazing without him I must say. His chesty barritone never sounded less than perfect along with falsetto choir boys and indie electro club beats. Try throwing this on at your next house party and just see if you can’t get your guests moving in their tapered skinny jeans.
